Rolls Royce R&D Design Service Outsourced to India

After the German sports cars and luxury makers, c & 39; is the turn of British (oops, sorry, aujourd hui & 39; owned by German BMW) super luxury car Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to source design and services R & D India.
" Rolls Royce would look at the option & 39; De l & 39; outsourcing some of the design, proto-typing and of R & D for our parents centre BMW R & D to be set up in India. This will help us to achieve a high degree of customization of our cars to Indian conditions, without compromising on quality. A " said Colin Kelly, regional director, Asia-Pacific, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. In India, Roll Royce to inaugurate the first concession in Mumbai, Kelly denied any plans to manufacture or assembly & 39; d & 39; units India.
Earlier, Navnit Motors sold by the BMW dealer, Great - Britain& 39;s most luxurious car, the Rolls-Royce has sold well in India, seven saloons with a Phantom rupees. 3.5-crore price tag, passing in the last 18 months. Impressed by India & 39; consumer market, its parent company - BMW is investing Rs 110-crore (20 million euros & 39;) to build an assembly unit & 39; near Chennai, as well as, a wholly owned subsidiary sales subsidiary in Delhi, including the establishment d & 39; an R & D-cum-design centre in the country.
Initially employing 200-300 - Persons, BMW will create about 600 jobs through its network of sales and concession. Fully owned subsidiary of production and sales, the BMW Group is the first vehicle should deploy & 39; d by the beginning of these 2007.
With & 39; shock & 39; n awe & 39; news in daily newspapers, it is no longer a surprise to see the world regularly beat path to the subcontinent. Indeed, c & 39; is a welcome change from the time, like the lemming they followed the United States, lead, rat-a-tat tatting doors of China. A few years ago down the road and falling sheep stampeding over each other, because they all come flocking to the & 39; India shores.
Only few years in China, and they have begun to realize rates No wage cuts & 39; has not received a high quality you only cheap & 39; N minable. They saw, & 39; those of them who had the foresight to offshore / outsource in India, not only the Indians found profitable, but they also found the talent and skills are not Chinese. Then again, the Indians speak English, in a second, if not the first language, and the & 39; India as a democracy & 39; n has not only sing the praises of this term, it was truly democratic and liberal, the shortage of raw materials in China. Then again, Indian trade and financial institutions have been around forever, and no one understood better than Indian companies, including the legal framework, a legacy of British rule has been more or less similar to their own.
So so why n & 39; they are all at the China before realizing their mistake? Maybe, the enigmatic former & 39; s & 39; inscrutable Chinese trapped and trapped as prey in a fighter cross! Well, no harm done! One of the lessons learned late is better than never learned a lesson! And, of & 39; n & 39; India has no grudges!
